During the initial developmental stages of our
facility in University Park, the natural surroundings were taken
into consideration so that disruption to the environment would
be minimal. We are proud that our development has produced an
ecologically balanced site. Our protected wetlands are home
to deer, coyote and mink as well as the egret, Great Blue Heron,
finches, and hawks – Cooper Hawks and Red Tail Hawks.
Countless butterflies and assorted amphibians and seasonal wildlife
populate the area.
We are an environmentally responsible organization. Avatar Corporation
believes the site is in balance with the surrounding environment
and that there is no discharge of harmful material into the
ecosystem.

When possible, we hire from the surrounding communities.
Employment preferences are given to residents of the Village
of University Park and the Village of Richton Park.
We actively work in cooperation with local government in order
to make a positive contribution to the community.
Avatar Corporation provides regular financial support for a
number of educational and charitable organizations wherein children
are the principal beneficiaries.
