Avatar Corporation is a manufacturer and distributor
of raw materials and ingredients for the food, drug, and cosmetic
industries. We are a privately held, Illinois corporation.
Our principal offices and plant are located on a 23-acre site
in University Park, Illinois. We operate in full compliance
with Current Good Manufacturing Practice —cGMP and have
been assigned a Permanent Drug Registration Number by the US
Food and Drug Administration (USFDA).

Baking- specialty vegetable
oils, divider oils, bread pan oils, trough greases and specialty
shortenings. These products are utilized as release agents,
shortenings and food-grade lubricants for specific equipment
used in the conveyance, forming and processing of bakery products.
Confectionary-
specialized release agents including slab, belt and kettle
lubricants to assure effective release, extended shelf life
and product clarity.
Meat and Poultry- Avatar Corporation has received USDA
authorization for all Citation™ and Avatech™ White
Mineral Oils for use in official establishments operating
under guidelines prescribed by USDA inspection and Grading
Programs.
The Drug Industry
Avatar is designated by USFDA as a bulk
pharmaceutical chemical manufacturer. We manufacture a variety
of excipients, diluents and vehicles used in ethical pharmaceutical
products.
